


HOW THE CEREMONY GREW IN 2023
At Stonefall Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery, the ANZAC ceremony commenced this year at 1 pm. Richard Barrett officiated at the ceremony, Gareth Gibbs once again delivered the Ode of Remembrance and introduced the wreath-layers. Supplying the music this year was Harrogate Band and our singer, from Harrogate Grammar School was Amelia McQuire. The poem was again read by H.G.S. student Sam Featherstone.
Speeches were delivered by Lt.Colonel Colin Morrison for the RADF, Flt. Lieutenant Dan Channon for the RNZAF and Kate Spencer on behalf of the Lord Mayor of Wellington and the people of New Zealand.
