


OUR THIRD YEAR AT STONEFALL 2024
At Stonefall Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery, the ANZAC ceremony commenced this year, once again at 1 pm. Richard Barrett officiated at the ceremony, Gareth Gibbs once again delivered the Ode of Remembrance and introduced the wreath-layers. Supplying the music once again this year was Harrogate Band and our singer was Jo Dexter. The poem was read by Alderman Mike Newby. Speeches were delivered by Air Commodore Sansom for the RAF, Squadron Leader Sara Potter for the RNZAF, Flight Lieutenant Dave King for the RAAF and Kate Spencer on behalf of the Lord Mayor of Wellington and the people of New Zealand.
